Driving Directions from the South and East

We are located approximately 5 minutes from the M4. Exit the M4 at junction 25a and at the first roundabout take the second exit (Cwmbran), at the second roundabout take the second exit (Abergavenny), then at the third roundabout take the first exit (Llantarnam). Follow this road over river bridge - look for our Red and White Visit Wales sign on right and turn into the lane/car park on the left.

Driving Directions from the West

We are located approximately 5 minutes from the M4. Exit the M4 at junction 26 - then follow signs for Cwmbran. Proceed through five sets of traffic lights. At first roundabout - take the second exit and descend down hill to a roundabout - take second exit - proceed to traffic lights (past Greenhouse Pub) - Go straight over, at the end of high red brick wall go left into a lane/car park on the left. 

Driving Directions From the North for scenery

From Monmouth - take A40 heading towards Newport, exit for A40 Abergavenny (after services). At first roundabout take third exit for Abergavenny - at next junction stay in left lane - at next roundabout take first exit A4042 Newport/Cwmbran. Follow for approx nine miles. At first roundabout take second exit, second roundabout take first exit, third roundabout (Mc' Donalds on your Left ) take second exit, fourth roundabout take second exit (Do Not follow signs for Cwmbran), fifth roundabout take second exit, sixth roundabout take second exit, seventh roundabout (Crown Roundabout) take second exit - signposted Llantarnam. Follow this road over river bridge - look for our  Red and White Visit Wales sign on your right and turn into lane/car park on the left.

Driving Directions From the North for speed !!

From Monmouth - take A40 /A449 to Newport at M4 junction join for Cardiff - and then follow above directions from South and East.

How to get to Springfields using public transport

Please note - these are only our preferred suggestions as there are always alternatives and please check the relevant time tables. Taxis are always available.

From Cwmbran Railway Station

The bus station is a short walk from the Railway station - proceed out of the Railway station - turn left then right and pass the Stage Coach building on your right , cross to the left hand side of the road  at the roundabout - then cross over road  with the roundabout on you right - cross over the next junction  (The John Fielding pub is in front of you) and walk towards the left, bus station is on the right - see above. (There is a taxi rank outside the station and the usual fare is £3.50).

From Newport Railway Station

Walk to Newport bus station as below and then take bus as above. (or get a taxi from the rank - cost £9 to £12)

From Cardiff Airport

Take the bus shuttle to Cardiff bus station and then take an X3 to the Greenhouse Public House (see above for directions from) or take a train to Newport railway station and follow above directions.

From Bristol Airport

Take the express link bus shuttle to Bristol Temple Meads railway station and take a train to Newport and then follow the above instructions from Newport railway station.

From Newport Bus Station

Services 15 and 23 go past Springfields - get off the bus at the Green House public house continue to walk in the same direction as you were travelling to traffic lights (past pub and church). Then turn left at the lights - Springfields is five houses down on the right (you will see our signs).

From Cwmbran Bus Station

Services X3, 15 and 23 go past Springfields. The journey will take you down Llantarnam Road and then turns left at a set of traffic lights - You then go past a public house called the Green House - get off at the bus stop just past the pub.  To get back to Springfields walk towards the traffic lights and then turn left at the lights - Springfields is five houses down on the right (you will see our signs).

To get to Newport bus station from Newport railway station, come out of the station, walk broadly forward and left for about five minutes and any number of routes will get you to the bus station. The adjoining map shows the details.
